Photo Shoot Part 2

The photographer for this shoot was Julien McRoberts.  Originally from Santa Fe and now based in New York City, she has worked with many other designers.  We met at a professional networking event for women and connected right away.

As a photographer she has a keen eye and a distinct point of view.  She was able to find the perfect background for each item, one that would bring out the detailing of the featured garment.  Easy-going and understanding, she was a real pleasure to work with!

Julien selected the location and presented me with several options for the model.  I ended up choosing Lena Diene.  French from Divonne-Les-Bains, Lena has a classical beauty that I felt would suit the clothes and the setting perfectly.  She was flexible and charming and together with Julien we had the dream team.  There was a certain effortlessness to our work and it was in large part due to our synergy.
